STAY AGRESSIVE!
I started to interview aside from war veterans international military psychiatrists,
for customer control and because it is interesting for everybody.
There are a lot of different forms of therapy to cure PTSD and other conditions after suffering trauma. There has been a long conflict on the definition of PTSD since the Vietnam war. The symptoms of PTSD have been scientifically investigated for more than 100 years, the diagnosis was first included in the American Diagnostic Manual Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (current version: DSM-5), which is published by the American Psychiatric Association (APA)[39] in 1980.
Internationally the most common Therapy to treat PTSD is cognitive behavioural therapy CBT. Understand and learn the different kinds of therapies there are offered, understand how people prepare themselves for war, cope during conflict and adjust to peacetime life.
Find out what affects soldiers but also how civilians cope when subjected to the trauma of war.
But it's also important to get a critical understanding of the complex methodological, ethical, medical, aspects of psychiatry To find the right treatment and to be able to explain yourself and stay strong.
A lot of people who suffer, feel misunderstood and let down by doctors and their spectrum.
